Introducing Acer Aspire One D270, one of the first 10 inch netbooks to feature an Intel Atom N2600 Cedar Trail processor. Havine been on sale in Germany and Taiwan and the netbook looks like it’s almost in the US. The Acer Aspire One D270 is now available for pre-order from Adorama and Sears. This Acer netbook is successor to Acer Aspire One D260 and listed for priced at $284.61 but no word when it’s shipping date. In terms of the specs, the processor clocks in at 1.6GHz and the display is a 10.1 inch WSVGA Acer CrystalBrite LED-backlit display.

Pioneer Computers has unveiled a new tablet called DreamBook Z97. New DreamBook Z97 by Pioneer Computers boasts a 1.5GHz ARM Cortex-A9 quad-core processor. DreamBook Z97 basic version costs $ 499. At this price you will have IPS display with a diagonal 9.7 “and a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels (4:3 format), 1GB RAM, front webcam, Bluetooth, WiFi, HDMI output, USB 2.0, microSD card slot and 16GB of memory. Fujitsu has just released the Stylistic M350/CA2 Android tablet model for the business users. This tablet is aimed at enterprise customers rather than the general public. It boasts a Wide Super VGA (WSVGA) display with 1024×600 pixel resolution. Interestingly, users can select between a numeric keypad input, QWERTY input, and hand-written input. Perhaps the hand-written input will need the use of a stylus; hopefully more details on that will emerge.

Introducing the Spark, a modestly Linux-based tablet. Aaron Seigo, an KDE Plasma Active team member, unveiled the tablet on his website this weekend. The tablet is aimed at those who want to run applications on Linux-based open hardware. After more than two years after Nikon released the D3s, the company has officially announced the D4, its new flagship DSLR. The D4 will replace the D3S; unlike Canon, Nikon doesn’t seem to be merging its vertical-gripped pro bodies into a single line. Samsung has announced a high-end display that will be displayed next week at CES in Las Vegas, labeled the Series 9 monitor. The Series 9 monitor is a 27″ QHD (quad hi-def) monitor with a 2560 x 1440 resolution. The display uses Samsung’s Natural Color Expert technology to apparently get extreme color performance out of over a billion colors, and uses pro-grade Panel Line Switching to improve horizontal and vertical angles of viewing.
