The Samsung SUR40 touch-table is being shipped out this month. The 40-inch next-gen Surface was unveiled at CES 2011. Microsoft on Monday confirmed that the first Surface 2.0 table, the Samsung Surface SUR40, was shipping. The SUR40 can be used as a table, a wall-mountable and/or vertical/horizontal kiosk and is both multiuser and multitouch. It features a 40-inch HD 1080p screen and is four inches thin (including the glass, PC and enclosure). Download
Samsung introduces Yellow-colored Series 7 Gaming Notebook

Samsung has unleashed a new color of its Series 7 Gaming laptop. The Samsung gaming notebook is coming in Yellow color, which is claimed as trendy color for new generation gamers and women. Back in November 2011, Samsung announced the notebook which had a black chassis. What’s more, Samsung used the Glass Flake coating, which increases the durability of the machine, so that it may keep up with the active lifestyle of youth. Download
Fujifilm produces limited edition of 10,000 black X100s

At CES 2012, Fujifilm are releasing a special edition of the X100 in black. Fujfilm’s only making 10,000 of these, and they’ll cost $1700 (a $500 premium over the silver model).The package of X100 BLACK Limited Edition contains the camera unit, a genuine leather ever-ready case, a lens hood, an adapter ring and a protective filter. Each package comes with a message card reading a number as proof that it is one of only 10,000 units produced.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus N Launched in European Markets

Here is another Samsung tablet redesigned for Germany. This time it’s the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. The new Tab 7.0 Plus N is no different internally, and has only seen a few design changes to keep the lawyers at bay. The major design difference is the stereo speakers mounted at the front of the device. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus N is powered with Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system and the update to Ice Cream Sandwich is in pipeline. Download
JVC unveils first handheld 4K camcorder

JVC has just announced the GY-HMQ10, the world’s first handheld 4K camcorder, which captures, records, and plays video images at four times the resolution of high definition television. The GY-HMQ10 records 4K motion 3840×2160 footage at 24p, 50p, or 60p. It is, however, worth pointing out that 3840×2160 is called QFHD, or Quad Full High Definition, meaning it’s equivalent to 4x1080p. Download
Qualcomm Unveils Thinnest, Lightest Mirasol E-reader, The Hanvon C18

At the opening Keynote at CES 2012 Qualcomm revealed a new color e-reader based on their mirasol display technology. Mirasol displays are Qualcomm’s attempt to bridge the gap between e-ink and LCD display technology, serving up full (albeit washed out) colour video and animations, with the small power consumption of an e-ink display. The Hanvon C-18 e-reader boasts itself to be the thinnest and lightest e-reader on the market. Download
Olympus adds VR-340 to ultracompact lineup

Olympus announced its new additions to its V series of compact cameras today, the VR-340. Beautifying and retouch mode is not the only function of the VR series, which allows you to transform reality and emphasizing its specific aspects. The new camera also performs 3D images, and offers even mode, Red & Cyan 3D, which means that 3D effects can be seen even on a normal 2D screens – and do not need any specialized hardware 3D. Toshiba announces Excite X10 tablet, arriving mid-Q1 2012

Toshiba has just announced its latest tablet device, the Toshiba Excite X10 at the CES 2012 which claims the world’s thinnest 10-inch tablet. The device has a magnesium alloy on its back, Corning’s durable Gorilla Glass as its surface and a particularly bright and colorful screen. The tablet has much of the same specs as the one announced overseas back in September – a 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4430 processor and 1GB of RAM, a 10.1-inch 1,280×800 display, along with miniHDMI, microUSB, and a microSD card slot.

Toshiba NB510 netbook with Cedar Trail spied

The 1st photos of Toshiba’s NB510 netbook, that will be released at CES, subsequent week appears on the web. The NB510 will be a middle-ground in terms of value and functions, in in between the NB520 and NB500 launched in late-2010. There seem to be black, red and blue versions of the mobile PC, all powered by the Intel Atom N2600 or N2800 CPU. The Toshiba NB510 also come with 1GB of 800MHz DDR3 memory and 320GB SATA 5400rpm hard drive.

Nikon D4 DSLR Gets Official

After more than two years after Nikon released the D3s, the company has officially announced the D4, its new flagship DSLR. The D4 will replace the D3S; unlike Canon, Nikon doesn’t seem to be merging its vertical-gripped pro bodies into a single line. DPreview say that the biggest jump in terms of changes would be the D4′s improvement in video capabilities, where it is intended to go up against the 5D Mark II from Canon (and beyond). Download
