Here is another eReader namely the Toshiba BookPlace DB50 has found its way across. The BookPlace DB50 combines a unique shape with a customized version of Gingerbread to create a device purpose-built for Toshiba’s proprietary bookstore. The Toshiba mobile device comes with a 7-inch color TFT LCD touchscreen display featuring LED backlight and a 600 × 1024p resolution while operating on a 1GHz Freescale i.MX535 CPU and 7.5 hours of battery life. Toshiba says they plan to expand the range of available titles to 100,000 by March this year, the largest in its home market. The store has been available in America since 2010.
